Rajaji Nagar is a locality in Bangalore, India. It is named after C. Rajagopalachari, popularly known as Rajaji, a freedom fighter and the last Governor-General of India. The area was developed in the 1960s by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA). Rajaji Nagar is one of the largest residential areas in Bangalore. It is home to a large number of working professionals, as well as many retirees. The area has a mix of old and new construction, with some apartments dating back to the 1970s.
