Intrahepatic bile duct dilatation was detected in a 63-year-old man based on abdominal ultrasonography. The computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging scans showed an intrahepatic cystic lesion in the hilar bile duct that led to intrahepatic bile duct dilatation.
