The mitochondrial genome of Desmomyia sinensis Yang et Yang, 1997 was sequenced, the new representative of the family Rhagionidae. The complete mitochondrial genome is 16,430 bp totally, which consists of 13 protein-coding genes, two ribosomal RNAs, 22 transfer RNAs, and one non-coding control region.
