I'm not a serious collector but I like the 80's and 90's bags because they are simple and practical for me and I kinda figured I was safe from counterfeits because these aren't high status purses so who'd bother to fake them? I showed it to a friend who knows a lot more than I do and she was confident it was fake. I did some internet sleuthing and found the very bag I had purchased being exhibited in a 'hall of shame' as a fake on a purse blog!
