Items that lack certain qualities can be ruined by attempts to engrave that company. Many items today are not solid metal but are cast a inexpensive alloy and plated finish. Quite a few cases quality plating can survive some engraving processes but frequently than not the plating will peal or allow corrosion underneath the engraving causing severe problems down the street. One more thing--please don't ignore ladies. A quick "thanks, but no thanks" note is such great better than no reply at many. In fact, next time you're replying with a message
