This study was performed to elucidate the uptake and bioaccumulation of polystyrene microplastics (PS-MPs) in Japanese medaka (freshwater fish) and Java medaka (marine fish), and to assess its impacts on the survival, reproduction, and gene expression of Japanese medaka.
