A novel core-shell (ε-MnO2/CeO2)@CeO2 composite catalyst with a synergistic effect was prepared by hydrothermal reaction and thermal decomposition and its application to high-efficiency oxidation removal of formaldehyde (HCHO) was systemically investigated.
