Sesia siningensis is an important trunk borer of poplar and is widely distributed in China. Here, the complete mitochondrial genome of S. siningensis was sequenced. The circle genome of the clearwing moth is 15,454 bp in length. There are 38 sequence elements including 13 protein coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, 2 rRNA genes, and a control region.
