What is known and objective Augmented renal clearance (ARC; hyperfiltration with over 130 mL/min/1.73 m2 of creatinine clearance (CLcr )) commonly occurs in critically ill patients. PURPOSE The relationship between postoperative complications and long-term survival after surgery for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is controversial.
