We study the characteristics of a self-propelled particle advected by a reliable laminar-flow. The persistent movement of the self-propelled particle is explained by an energetic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck procedure. We focus on the diffusivity properties regarding the particle as a function of determination time and free-diffusion coefficient, exposing non-monotonic actions, aided by the event of the absolute minimum and a steep growth
