In 2004, Marcia moved to the University of Roehampton, where she was the program convenor for psychology. A gifted, energetic, and inspirational teacher as well as researcher, she was awarded a joint Roehampton Teaching Fellowship (2010-2013) in recognition of her work on learning and teaching in higher education.
