Cu-ZSM-5 and Ce-doped Cu-Ce-ZSM-5 samples were prepared by liquid-phase ion exchange strategy. The two catalysts were put through hydrothermal aging treatment into the simulated flue gas of a coal-fired energy place at an ageing heat of 650-850 °C. The denitration experiment found that the activity regarding the old Cu-ZSM-5 had been 19.6% to 41per cent less than that of the fresh Cu-ZSM-5 at the suitable decomposition temperature of NO at 550 °C, while the old Cu-Ce-ZSM-5 had only a 14.8% to 31.
