Sinopora hongkongensis is a critically endangered endemic tree species restricted to Hong Kong. Here we report its plastome sequence. The S. hongkongensis plastome was 158,612 bp in length, with a large single-copy (LSC) region of 89,405 bp and a small single-copy (SSC) region of 18,205 bp, separated by two inverted repeat (IR) regions of 25,498 bp.
