Post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL) is clinical outcome of visceral leishmaniasis (VL) and is thought to be the potential reservoir of parasite. Miltefosine (MF) is the only oral drug existing for treatment of post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL).
