You can find free videos on YouTube that will guide you through the various stitches you will need to know. You can also find free patterns on various blogs or forums that are out there. Never scold a child if he or she doesn't get a crafty project "quite right". Doing arts and crafts is supposed to bring out their creative side. You can't let them have a chance to do this when you're always making them aware of mistakes
