Objective To evaluate the results of laparoscopic treatment of patients with advanced appendicular peritonitis. Material and methods There were 271 patients with acute appendicitis complicated by peritonitis. The main group consisted of patients who underwent laparoscopic appendectomy after diagnostic laparoscopy (n=231), the control group - diagnostic laparoscopy followed by conversion to median laparotomy (n=36).
