ADD Symptoms in Adult Women Women suffering from ADHD are often misdiagnosed and underdiagnosed. This is largely because of gender biases and social constructs which assume that women will hide their symptoms. They may disguise their inattentiveness as anxiety or mood related which can lead to a misunderstood diagnose.
