The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft The War Within introduced two gear upgrade currencies: Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. They can be traded at the NPCs of rs Cuzolth and Vaskarn. Each item can be upgraded up to its maximum level only once for a slot. Upgrades to the slot are cheaper afterward.
