ADD Symptoms in Adult Women Women with ADHD are often misdiagnosed and underdiagnosed. This is largely due to gender-based biases and social constructs which require women to conceal their symptoms. They often camouflage their inattentive symptoms as being related to mood or anxiety and thus miss a diagnosis.
