Gram-stain-positive, aerobic, non-spore-forming strains CCNWLXL 1-35T, CCNWLXL 12-2 and CCNWLXL 21-a, were isolated from wheat rhizosphere from Yangling, Shaanxi Province, China. Comparison of the 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that they belonged to the genus Arthrobacter and were closely related to Arthrobacter globiformis NBRC 12137T (97.95% similarity).
