Ethylene bisdithiocarbamate pesticides, including Mancozeb (MZ), are used as fungicides. Effects of MZ on apoptosis induction and mitochondrial activity of HT-29 colon cells were investigated. MZ exposed cells exhibited blebbing and cellular membrane disruption in scanning electron micrographs.
