Procedural success was as high as 94% and more than 90% of cases were treated without any complication. The most common complication during PCI with RA was vessel dissection (8.8%) and no procedural death occurred. None of the clinical nor procedural characteristics were associated with burr entrapment or vascular access hematoma. We identified as independent predictor of treated vessel dissection the female sex (OR 16.9, 95% CI 1.55-183.77, p less then 0.05).
