Auckland Anniversary 2025 is celebrated on the Monday nearest to January 29th. Northland celebrates this special day as its anniversary day but calls it Northland Day. It is celebrated throughout the famous Auckland Province, even though the provinces of New Zealand were abolished in 1876. This holiday usually falls on the Monday closest to the date January 29th, the anniversary of the arrival of William Hobson.
