Regarding the mechanical behavior and the chemical resistance, similar results were observed whatever the DS is. Ethylenediamine-modified pectins (EPs) with different degrees of amidation (DA) were prepared and characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared spectra (FTIR), elemental analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
