The properties of the thin films and the parent vesicles were probed through dynamic light scattering (DLS), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), optical ellipsometry, quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM-D), and confocal scanning laser microscopy (CSLM).
