Pocket-Finder implements LIGSITE (Hendlich et al., 1997) which is predicated on the POCKET algorithm (Levitt and Banaszak, 1992). In POCKET, a probe sphere of radius 3 Å is handed throughout the protein along every line of a 3D grid in the x, y and z directions.
