We read with great interest the paper by Goel et al about cardiovascular disease in Takayasu arteritis (TAK) (1). They conducted an open retrospective matched cohort study to estimate risk of comorbidities in TAK. They then find out that Cardiovascular morbidity was increased among patients with TAK.
