Children with obstructive sleep apnea are considered high risk for postoperative respiratory complications, but opinions differ regarding the polysomnography (PSG) criteria that suggest the need for postoperative admission. Our objective was to determine if otherwise healthy children age ≥3 years with an apnea-hypopnea index (AHI)24 on overnight PSG can be safely discharged on the same day of surgery. Case series with chart review of children age 18 years with positive PSG (AHI2) who underwent adenotonsillectomy (TA)
